Jacoba painted her first mural at 18 when she lived in America in the 80’s. Here she fell in love with large scales and city spaces. Jacoba is not rooted in street art, she prefers paint over spray.
Jacoba has worked actively towards adjusting her artworks to achieve harmony with their surroundings. The works of Jacoba often portrays figurative motifs tied together with strings of different colours, which represent both organisation and chaos.
